AIMS : To create and paraphrase sentence by finding specific information on the website.
To create instruction on how to do cupcakes

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS :
One computer per group of 2 students with an Internet connection and a Web browser.

PREPARATION :
Find any website or cook-site which teach about how to make cupcakes with pictures

PROCEDURE :
1. Ask the students whether they have experience in baking cupcakes.
2. Show them some pictures of cupcakes on slides.
3. Then ask students to locate to the sites chosen.
4. Ask them to choose any of the cupcakes recipe (each of the recipe has step-by-step instruction on how to make the cupcake and the instructions are given by numbers).
5. Ask the students to paraphrase each of the sentences using their own words.
6. Then, after that transfer the instructions into one paragraph only, using their own word.
7. Next, tell the students to exchange their paper to the friend sitting next to them.
8. Check and correct if they are any problems, eg.grammar error.

FOLLOW-UP :
Using the pictures given, create your own instruction on how to make the cupcake.

Gandhi was born in Porbandar, India, on October 2nd 1869. His father died when he was still a teenager. At the age of 13 he married Kasturba Gandhi who was three years younger and the marriage lasts for 62 years until her death in 1944.As a young man Gandhi left India to study law in London. Then he spent two decades working in South Africa securing rights for Indian expatriates. It was during this time that his political reform through non-violence which he called Satyagraha was born. This movement meant resistance of tyranny through mass civil disobedience, firmly founded upon ahimsa, total non violence, which led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. This way, when he returned to India, Mohandas Gandhi emerged as a political and religious leader in the fight for independence from Great Britain and was accorded the country's Father of the Nation. India freed itself from Britain on August 15th, 1947. Five months later, on January 25th, 1948 Gandhi was shot by a conservative Hindu.

1. The users which this website is targetting is fromm all sorts of level of English language users whether they're from the beginner level, intermediate or even advanced. this website could be categorized ask a multilevel website because it caters to little child who is just expose to English language or even the elder who just started to learn English.

2. The application users are expected to enjoy learning, exploring and mingling with English language as how they enjoy doing anything else. the users who are still unsure about their grammar or vocabs, can have a refrence using the dictionary provided in the web. It also has many activities to boost one's English language in a spontaneous and joyous way, so that we as English language learners know that English is fun.

3. The application users doesn't need to have advanced computer skill in order to use the website because it is easy as long as one knows how to turn on and off a computer. Nevertheless, some of the application in this computer are based on one's schemata and knowledge level or field. For example, this website provides lesson plans and methodology for ESL students who maybe need them as guidance or references, and it goes the same with any other activities included in the website.

4. While i'm assesing this website, i was reminded by many things which i've done during my previous semester as a TESL student. It has many examples and guidance of how to create lesson plans, and this website provide certain methodology for (future)teachers. Also this website has linked with some CALL website which may help us as to cope up with the CALL course which we're taking this semester.

5. I personally believe that this website will be best used in the setting of independent study lab with no teacher available. This website provided many resources, activities for different levels and it will be better if one can explore it himself, as it will enhance a more relax atmosphere of acquiring English language, rather than being guded by teacher, which maybe will reduce someone's enthusiasm.

6. This website does provide many activities and ideas for English language teachers and ESL students in order to help them cater with the students or assessment. It gives us the ideas on how to pick the material, suitable activities, lesson plan, handout, gmaes, so on and so forth.

7. I personally believe that this website had impliment the Gardner's Multiple Intelligence theory in a very good way interms of the visula spatial, linguistics, bodily-kinesthetic, intrapersonal, interpesonal and musical. these things which make the website an interesting one and one wouldn't feel bored assessing it.

8. Its is a very subjective thing to determine whether computer is a master or slave for students. For me it depends on the person himself. we are the one who can decide what we want out of our life and as a student. I personally believe that computer really is a replacement for teachers because it provides everything which we as students need, maybe even more than what a tecaher can provide. What maybe less is the two-way communication but as the world as well as the information technology is moving forward, the problem could be solved.

9. Yes i would like to use the website in my future work or as references because i believe my journey as (future)teacher is still long and winding, and i need a guide to help myself as a TESL student and also English user/learner. This website has everything an ESL student/teacher/user should know/have, so no need for anything else.

10. I would suggest that the website owner will organized the web in a more interesting and user-friendly way because first imperssion is important to attract anyone to use this website. Though the appearence of this website may not as bombastic as any other ESL website, but it is so useful for anyone, from any level of Englihs language proficiency level.
